Ladybird Care Foundation – supporting those who support others

As a society we all understand by now that those who give support are also often those who benefit most from the support of others, which is why Strictlymarketing has been honoured to be helping Ladybird Care Foundation since the start of 2023.

Since it was founded in 2020 to offer support services to families who are grieving the loss of a child, Ladybird Care Foundation, has sought to “fill the gap in essential mental health care services by providing funding to support bereavement care through a peer mentor training service”.

Strictlymarketing was recently named a GOLD level sponsor of the organisation after months of working with them on their marketing and design needs, helping to promote this incredible cause for those trying to cope with the grief of losing a child.

“We are very thankful for the wonderful support you have been to all of us at Ladybird Care Foundation,” General Manager Wendy Collins wrote to the Strictlymarketing team. “I am personally very grateful for your timely responses and particularly your patience as I have learnt about marketing terms, printing requirements and social media contexts.

“We are very grateful for your support with our marketing and your amazing sensitivity to the context in which we work.”

Strictlymarketing’s Managing Director, Bev Strickland, said the company is “thrilled with our involvement with this wonderful organisation and we look forward to continuing to support them well into the future”.

For the immediate future, this means helping to promote Ladybird Care Foundation’s major yearly fundraiser, their annual Gala Dinner, which this year will be held on Saturday, August 26 from 6pm at Brisbane City Hall.

This year’s event will be MC’d by Olympic swimmer Duncan Armstrong and includes pre-dinner canapés, a three course meal, live auction, online raffle and live entertainment by Virtuosity. For tickets and information, email events@ladybirdcare.org.au

“This is a chance to have a great night out, enjoy some time with friends and know it is all being done while raising funds for an organisation which does amazing work at the hardest time some people will ever face in their lives,” Ms Strickland said of the Gala Dinner.

“If you can support Ladybird Care Foundation to support others, everyone benefits. It really is that simple.”
