Welcome to our first update of 2021! After what can be best described as a challenging 2020 for most, we are excited about the promise of this year, the possibilities of what can be achieved and hope for the future. We have new clients, new staff and new ideas we can’t wait to share with you.
Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has appointed Strictlymarketing to work on the marketing of eight shopping centre assets across Queensland comprised of five in south-east Queensland and three in northern Queensland.
We will be working alongside JLL Management teams to develop and implement bespoke strategic marketing plans for each of the eight properties.
The signing represents a huge win for Strictlymarketing and continues to increase our footprint in this space.
The Engine Room – what we are doing now!
The Strictlymarketing team is busy at work developing strategic marketing plans for our retail shopping centre clients who are required to produce Marketing Plans for lessees under the Retail Shop Leases Act 1984. Queensland legislation requires the Marketing Plans be delivered to retailers no later than May 31.
This year represents a new frontier for the Marketing Plans, given the impacts of COVID-19 on how consumers shop, and the value many cash-strapped retailers will be demanding for their money.
Our role is to ensure retailers are supported in every possible way to maximise their opportunities to grow their businesses with, among other strategies, an increased focus on developing imaginative content for our social media platforms with an increased usage on video content.
- Madeline Austin has joined the Strictlymarketing team as a Marketing Assistant having completed a marketing internship with us in late 2020. Maddie, who brings strong retail experience with her, holds a degree in Digital Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate in Fashion Business of the Paris-based IÉSEG School of Management.
- We have also welcomed on board Catherine Vogel as a part-time Administrative Assistant. Catherine is about to begin studying chemical and environmental engineering at the University of Queensland and we are hoping her ability to organise will keep us prepared and focused on our clients.
As part of our commitment to deliver and develop strategies and tools to help our clients realise new opportunities, Strictlymarketing has introduced a new way to better collaborate on website design and development. By utilising Adobe XD when working to build and develop new client websites, the overall process can be much more interactive and engaging, by giving them a stronger feel for what their website can and should look like. This is achieved by showing how a website will look and function in real-time, taking the guess work out the often long and complicated process of website development.
