Chelsea Larkin – another excellent intern we have enjoyed working with

There is no doubt we have had a bit of a dream run with interns at Strictlymarketing in recent years, with our most recent intern, Chelsea Larkin, proving to be even more outstanding than many of the talented young men and women who have walked through our doors before her.

Chelsea started a Digital Marketing Internship with Strictlymarketing earlier this year and has racked up 100 hours of work with us, where she has shared as much knowledge with us, as we have with her!

She was also recently named on the QUT Business School Dean’s List for achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 7 in the penultimate semester of her dual degrees – a Bachelor in Business (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Media and Communications.

This is the third time Chelsea has made it to the prestigious QUT Business School Dean’s List having also achieved the feat in 2018 and 2019.

Bev Strickland, Managing Director with Strictlymarketing, explained that Chelsea’s work with the specialist retail marketing agency, has centred on helping with digital marketing campaigns for retail shopping centres, events management, SEO and a better understanding of creative design.

“We have been so lucky with the interns we have had, that it is often very difficult not to take them all on in permanent roles,” Bev continued. “If we had the capacity, Chelsea would be the latest among a string of recent interns who have undertaken paid employment with us.

“Unfortunately, as she nears the completion of her double degree in November and is about to finish her internship with us, we need to say goodbye for now.

“I know our loss will most certainly be someone else’s gain and I am excited both for them and Chelsea. She has so very much to offer and would prove to be an asset to the right team.

“Best of luck Chelsea and thank you for all you have done and taught us. We hope the lessons you learned with us will serve you well in your career and life.”
